Public Comment Process
Anyone wishing to speak during the public forum portion of the general board meeting; is asked to arrive at least ten minutes before the meeting is called to order and sign up on the public comment sign-up sheet. Those signed up before the meeting is called to order will be given two mins each to speak on any one topic. Members of the Board of Directors will not use the time to respond to any comments or questions but will respond in writing collectively via the office of the Superintendent of his designee. Community members or organizations wishing to speak during the public forum portion of the meeting; shall not use any derogatory language or use scholar or staff members’ names during their comments. The Board of Directors reserves the right to amend this policy per its authority granted within the bylaws.
